Elements of Creation:

What exists in space? Matter and energy are residents here. Anything that is not empty space itself is comprised of these two. Only they are not really two at all, but one and the same in different forms. Matter is simply energy that has trapped a volume of space inside of it. Free Energy is as a ray of light; a tiny particle of some sort of energy that is not bound to any particular path of travel. Trapped Energy is that same particle that has ventured too near a source of attraction and been pulled into orbit around it. Free Space is thus that which has no known limitations to it’s volume, it is infinite. Trapped Space is the confined volume that is defined by the limit of the energy in orbit around it.

These four are symbolic of the Four Elements of ancient times. These are the crude descriptions of Fire, Earth, Air, and Water. We tend to laugh now, when we here that these four were once thought to make up all things in reality. In actuality though, all things do fall into one of these categories, if we back away from literal translations of the meanings. These four are very similar to the quadrature of Solids, Liquids, Gases, and Heat, (which is that agent of transition between the stages of Matter.). The relation between these four elements and the Energy/Matter quadrature is not an east pattern to match. In order to do so, we must first understand more about Energy and how Matter is formed of it.

What makes up energy and matter then? Matter is made up of Atoms. Atoms are made up of subatomic particles that are closer to being pure energy. There are many different types of atoms, but only three basic types of subatomic particles. These particles are Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons. They have electrical charges of Positive, Neutral, and Negative, respectively. These 3 make up virtually all that is in creation, and all that exists within the 3 dimensions. Those who founded the old religions may have had some idea of the mathematical logic needed to define the 3 dimensions. Without the science of today, only divine inspiration could have led them to understand the significance of this most Holy Trinity. The Proton, Neutron, Electron, and Space also represent the four elements. There are actually several sets of four that are representative of the four elements. Point, Line, Plane, and Space are the geometric example.

To grasp the significance of the balance between energy and space in an atom, I offer the following example as a matter of fact: The smallest atom in creation is that of the actual element Hydrogen. This atom has only one proton in the middle as a Nucleus, and one electron orbiting around as the Shell. Now, if the central proton was the same size as a golfball, the electron would be the same size as a baseball. This baseball-sized electron would be spinning around the golfball-sized proton in the center in such an erratic way as to form a giant sphere around it at a distance of about two miles. That is a sphere that is four miles in diameter. Stop and contemplate this for a moment. At the very center where the nucleus of the atom is, you could not even see a baseball-sized object orbiting around the radius of two miles away. Think about how many baseballs and golfballs a sphere four miles across could hold. What this shows us is that a seemingly solid object that an atom is, is really more than 99.999% empty space. Furthermore, think about how fast that baseball is spinning around the center: fast enough to form a virtually impervious shell around this defined volume of space. It is moving so fast that you and one hundred friends could try to jump into it at the exact same moment and all be hit so many times by that single baseball that it would seem as if there was a solid wall around that volume of space. I like this example a lot. It is factually accurate, and very demonstrative of the nature of atomic structure and of matter.

Atomic elements that are heavier than the Hydrogen atom,(which are ALL the other elements,) simply have more subatomic particles in them. For every particle that makes up the shell, or shells in the heavier elements, there must be a particle in the nucleus to balance it. Only Electrons make up the shells of atoms. Only Protons and Neutrons comprise the nucleus of an atom. One of the heavier atoms is Uranium. This atom has 92 electrons in orbit around a nucleus that has 92 neutrons and protons. Even with this number of golfball and baseball sized particles there is still a vast amount of empty space involved.

Quantum physics arose out of attempting to break the atom down even further. There are even smaller particles than subatomic particles, called Quarks. These quantum particles do not seem to exist in reality at all like the particles, which they make up. They seem to come from and go into nothing when they are not a part of something. They do not really exist alone like other particles. They are very mysterious, and very little is known about them. However, the scientists have been able to study and categorize these quarks. They are known to come in 6 different shapes, and 6 different colors. Now it is no longer the Trinity of the subatomic particles that is seen as the primary building block for reality. It is these 36 quanta that are the basic component of the atom.

These particles have made a portion of humanity aware of another infinity besides the greater infinity of infinite expansion. This Lessor Infinity is the space between 1 and 0. As many possible numerical positions exist here as there are between 1 and infinity. As size MUST be able to expand logically forever into space, so it must also be able to be as infinitely contracted into smaller and smaller forms. As we can always add one to any number and make it larger, we can also divide any number in half and make it smaller. These TWO infinities boggle the mind. No matter how small a number is, it can still be divided into even smaller parts. All of our earthly systems of measurement are relative to our place in this grand scale of dimension. As a Solar system is very similar to an Atom, only moving much slower, (in our relative sense of time and space), we can only guess at the possibilities. We must accept the possibility that, considering the vast amount of relative space within the Atom, the entire universe as we know it might exist within the head of a pin in an alternate greater dimension than this. As well, there may be galaxies and systems that exist within the very tip of a human fingernail. Few are aware of this, that know there is as much space within the composition of their own form as exists outside in the vast Omniverse around us. There is infinite space within us as well as beyond us. We are in the center of our reality. This is the reason that the number 5 is the number chosen as the number of Humanity. Five falls exactly between 1 and 9 on the numberline. This is the position that we are in as human beings in reality; in the middle between the smallest and the largest. As the Bible says of Jesus: "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end." This is, among other things, a reference to the place of humanity, (of which he was a part of in the flesh, and is thought to exist in soul until the end of humanity).

Returning to the discussion regarding Elemental reality though, the five sits one step above the four. This is symbolic also of humanities place in the system. Four is the reality that we exist upon. We have already dealt with some of the many sets of four that are involved in the Creation. The basic Religious symbol of this Quadrature is the Hebrew name of God; Yahweh, or Jehovah. In Hebrew this name is represented as YHVH or IHVH, (the actual Hebrew letter names are Yod – He – Vau – He,) and is called Tetragramaton.

The Four Elements are also represented by the Four Winged-Beasts in the Hierarchy of the throne chamber in Revelations, as discussed previously. These have also been described as the Archangels. In analyses of the numerometry of the number 4, it is found that a 2 x 2 square of numbers can only be arranged in exactly 24 possible variations. I am not including this table here, as its value is limited. The table below, however, shows the six categories of creational symbols in relation to the Four Elements. These are believed to be the "Wings of the Angels" and are important to this study in that respect:
