Here, the remaining
15 paths can be seen: There are 12 repulsive or negative paths of the tree,
and 3 additional attractive and positive paths. In order to substantiate
the next section of understanding, we should take a closer look at how
these paths operate physically. The principles of Magnetism are the basis.
Like poles of a magnet repel each other, opposite poles attract. Magnets,
however, each have two poles. No magnetic Monopole has ever been
seen beyond the subatomic realm. A monopole is that which has but one single
pole, and the spheres are as such in the Tree of Life. Normally, there
are lines of force drawn invisibly between any two magnetic poles. Many
of us have seen the demonstration in school. Below are three magnets, and
the approximations of the magnetic lines of force between them:

This symbolism
can better be seen if we use actual monopoles to study. There is no better
example of a monopole than a rotating circle in two dimensions. If we look
at them as wheels on a machine of some sort, we can see these powers up
close.

(As a side note, it is interesting to discern the symbolism between the two "wheel" figures above, where the first is a positive and therefore masculine path and the second is negative and feminine. The aspects of the symbology here also indicate sexual differentiation.)
In the old Tree of Life from the Qabbala, there are 22 paths between the Sephiroth. It has been described already how the concept of the world by the Hebrews of that time was a two dimensional one. The world was flat, but there were also other things they did not know of. To understand why there are 22 paths on the tree, we have to understand more about what they were trying to express with their written language of 22 characters. We must know what symbolic things they knew of.
First of all, the Hebrews knew of the 12 astrological signs, which are basically ancient in origin. 22 – 12 = 10, but this ten is not the Sephiroth, for those are separate from the 22 paths. The next most likely symbols would have been the Seven Visible Planets. Since Seven is also very tied into biblical numerology, and the planets were objects in the realm of Heaven, this association is very likely. These 7 planets are not all planets, but the spheres of Heaven that one can see without the aid of telescopic sight. The 7 includes the Sun and Moon along with Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Nonetheless, these 7 were important symbols as well, so they must have been part of the 22 paths. 22 – 12 – 7 = 3 paths left over.
What are these three? They might be the Holy Trinity. They might be the Three dimensions. They might be something else. The symbolic meanings of the 22 paths are mirrored in the Tarot. This is a deck of cards used for Qabbalisitic study and fortune telling. The path expression in the Tarot is in the 22 cards of the Major Arcana. Each of these cards relates to a Hebrew letter, a path on the Tree of Life, and, most recently, to a chapter in the book of Revelation in the Bible. These 22 cards range in value from Zero to twenty-one. Which has a total of 22 values. Those who study the Tarot claim that these three leftover paths are symbolic of the elements Air, Water, and Fire. Even in modern times, when we now know the Earth is another planet, and there are at least Three other planets in the Solar system that we cannot see with the naked eye, they still hold to the old ways. They completely ignore the presence of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto as celestial orbs when it comes to the Qabbala.
If we add these three to the line up thus far, we come up with 12 Zodiacal signs, 7 visible, and 3 invisible ( but real ) planets, for a total of exactly 22. Yet this is in error, as one of these is a representative of the power Zero. I am not certain what to make of this, as I feel Zero is one of the Ten Spheres. The Qabbala calls the Tenth Sephiroth sphere "10", but I look at it as a Zero; as it allows all the Ten Spheres to be the Ten Digits of the Decimal System of real numbers. The actual number ten seems too important to just be one of the 22 paths though, so I still have some question as to this arrangement, but I go with what I believe to be right.
From the symbolism
of the diagrams above, I find it easy to see the negative/repulsive paths
as being easily equated with Celestial Orbs, or Planetary Spheres. As the
astrological signs relate to Spirit and the planets are definitely of Form,
the application of the known celestial orbs to the 12 space/form creating
negative paths seems quite logical. There are, however, only 11 significant
known orbs in our solar system. I must admit that I am not certain what,
or where, (or perhaps when,) this twelfth celestial body is, but it must
exist according to this scheme in some way or another. The solution of
the 12th planet comes from both philosophical and scientific thought. Astrologers
have speculated on the existence of this planet for decades. They call
it Lillith, or Vulcanis. Either name is appropriate, I suppose.
Some assume it lies outside the orbit of Pluto. Most believe it is somewhere
else. The only logical place that it could be is inside the orbit of Mercury.
It is too close to the Sun to be seen, or have any effect upon rational
gravitation. This is also in tune with the definition of this system of
Tet-Ra. Below is the diagram of the 12 negative paths. Note that it includes
two overlapping structures: One is the spheres of 1, 5, and 9 in a line
of opposition as they are all three positively charged spheres. The other
is a form in the shape of an inverted pyramid composed of the negatively
charged spheres of 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8. They are shown over each other as
they appear in the diagram of the Grand Tet-Ra:

Under the Sun and
Moon are the other ten paths, arranged in an Anti-Pyramid form, which appears
in this view as a Pentagram inside of a Pentagon.
This may seem like a difficult form to study in attempt to discern which
path relates to which planet, but it is also quite simple, as it was with
the Zodiac. If we take a look at a diagram of the Solar System, there is
a definite break between planets that are near to the Sun and those that
are much farther away. This break occurs between Mars and Jupiter; an area
that is now a vast field of asteroids. Now there are only Mercury, Venus,
Earth, and Mars as the inside group, since the Sun and Moon have already
been accounted for,(and because they are not really true planets at all,)
which leaves only four. The outer five are there though. Jupiter, Saturn,
Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, are the outside group. Saturn is also number
seven still, as it was in the days before the telescope, so we can have
some certainty that the missing planet is part of the inside group. To
place these powers with their proper paths is now as simple as starting
with the lowest value of opposition as being the closest to the center,
and working outwards.
