The Trinary Code:

So far, we have discussed several important features of the number 27 in relation to metaphysics and technotheology. These 27 are also represented by the more symbolic means of the Trinary Code. What the Code is, is a set of values that are not really numbers at all, but versions of the trinity. The trinity is represented as Positive, Negative, and Neutral. It is also represented as the Three Dimensions, and The Three Stages of Matter, which are Solid, Liquid, and Gaseous. As well, it is the sub-atomic particles of Proton, Electron, and Neutron, and the representative symbols of Alpha, Beta, and Gamma (in that order). Each one of these groups of three relates directly to the others. Each member of the trinity is known by many different names, and as many different things in reality. These will be discussed further under the topic of the Elemental Quadrature, which has but been touched upon thus far.

Any set of these three values might be used to construct the sequence of the Trinary Code, as the symbols are not as important as the patterns; they all refer to the same value of the Trinity. For ease of reading, and to make use of numerometric analyses techniques, I have chosen to demonstrate the code numerically. For this purpose, I have chosen to use the numbers that are best suited to represent such a Divine Trinity as the one we are attempting to explore. These numbers are the single digits One, Two, and Zero. As these three add up to the value of 3, I thought it seemed appropriate.

There are several interpretational problems here, which must be addressed. For the sake of simplicity, (as I am ALWAYS a fan of simplicity,) the standard symbolic scale of comparison shall be Positive, Negative, and Neutral. How do these relate to the values of 1, 2, and 0? There are several possibilities here, and each has valid points.

One, is the whole, or any part of the whole. Since the whole is a balance of both positive and negative, the 1 might well be seen as Neutral. Two is also symbolic of this balance though, so 2 might be the Neutral value. As well, Zero is considered to be neither positive nor negative, and therefore Neutral. This is but one of the values considered. When working with the three digits chosen, or even the alternate set of 1, 2, and 3, the problem of correct placement arises.

I have chosen to follow my feelings with this, which is not something I like to do at all. I like facts without possibility for question. That makes rock solid faith and belief to me, but I am unable to prove the correctness of some things. In this work, you will find each of these areas of uncertainty marked with such a disclaimer as this. I detest those who feel that they know some things for certain, and fill in their own uncertainties with statements that are not certain. No one has all the answers. I have some, but that does not obligate me to know all. If someone believes in what I state, it is my obligation to let them know what I am uncertain of.

It is the beauty of Communication and the diversity of Humanity that allows us to solve problems that are thousands of years old. I can spend my entire lifetime trying to solve a problem, and I may die before it is solved. If I document what I have found and what I believe accurately, some other teenage mystic will be able to pick up my work and continue where I ran out of time. He/She will be able to make the most of the time they then have to solve the problem if they don’t have to first figure out what was real and what was not from what I have passed on. I have spent a great deal of time myself, sorting out the gems from the dirt. I choose to not allow my work to be as such. With that in mind, I shall continue with my discourse.

The arrangement that I have chosen is the logical sequence of 0, 1, and 2. Zero is Positive, as all potential proceeds from it. One is Neutral, as it is the sum of all. Two is Negative, as it is the sum of One and an Opposite power that is equal to One, and it is the first Even and divisible whole number. There is an unknown relationship between Zero and One through the number Ten being the first real number to incorporate it. There is a relationship with the Trinary code between 1 and 0 likewise. The actual code is as follows. As in Binary numbers, the value of Zero begins the sequence. This progresses to One, then to Two. Each place value goes through the sequence and resets, while at the same time increasing the value of the next place to the left. The sequence can go on and on, just like a Binary sequence, but 27 values are defined with a limit of three places, and that is significant to this system.

The Trinary Code is the scale that is used to plot the 27 Paths on the Tet-Ra Tree of Life. The sequence begins at the number value of Ten. The zero is not a number, and the first nine numbers are spheres. Since spheres are different from paths in the Tree of Life, the first path number is 10. Placing the occult symbols to their proper paths may seem like a difficult task, even with logical arrangement. This was not really difficult at all once the identities of the 24 had been established. The Zodiac is symbolic of Spirit, in the Qabbalistic tradition, while their respective Planets are symbolic of Form. These 24 plus the three Polar powers of positive, negative, and neutral comprise the 27 paths. In the Trinary Code itself, there are three places where the symbols are unique with no opposite form. These are the very beginning, middle, and end of the sequence. These are the code numbers "000", "111", and "222". I classify them as unique, as they have no comparable match among the 27. The opposite of "001", for example, is "100". While the value "010" is the opposite of "101".

These three are equated with the positions 10, 23, and 36 on the scale. With these three positions filled, there are two big gaps left in the sequence from 10 to 36. These gaps are of 12 values each: 11 through 22, and 24 through 35. Since I believe that Spirit was the predecessor to Form, the powers of the Zodiac were listed first. These were so listed in the correct order from the Spring Equinox; the true beginning of the Solar Year; which starts with the sign of Aries. Since the actual numerical value of the trinary code, (and other numerical numberline-type codes), shows a reversal after the midpoint, the sequence of the Form symbols; the Planets; must also be reversed. Path 24 is not the metaphysical opposite of path 10. The ruling planet of Aries is path 35 instead. Path 24 is the planet Neptune, which is the ruling planet of the sign Pisces. The paths on opposite sides of the midpoint at 23 add to 46. The trinary code numbers on either side of this path 23 add to 222. In this arrangement, each opposing pair of occult powers adds to the same number, which is as I see perfection of balance.

This table shows the 27 paths of the Tet-Ra Tree of Life in nine categories of symbolism. The first is the new path number: 10 through 36. The second is the Spheres or Sephiroth that are connected by the path, and the type of connection. The third is the Trinary Code value. The fourth is the reduced numerical value of the path. The fifth is the occult symbol. The sixth is the new Taro title. The seventh is the letter of the English alphabet represented. The eighth is the old Major Arcana number of Tarot, with the five new paths shown as Roman numerals with asterisks. Columns nine and ten show the names and characters of the Hebrew Alphabet in the most reasonable arrangement I can find.

New notes about this table

It is also interesting to note that the five new paths, which correspond to the five new planets, occupy the paths numbered 10, 24, 25, 30, and 36, and that these added together equal 125, which is 5 x 5 x 5. (This number also has a base of 8.)

Another possibility the table of the Major Arcana is that it allows the resolution of the Cube of Reality. Considering the values of 0, 1, and 2 as a, g, and b, (alpha, gamma, and beta, respectively,) we can solve the dimensions. This solution is shown in the tables below. The first value represents the Z scale. An a here equals a positive charge or direction. A b here equals a negative charge. A g means there is no charge at all for this value. The second value in the scale is Y, and the third is X. The same rules as to what an a, b, or g means in each of these places is the same as for Z. Thus, the first value represented as 000, or a a a, symbolizes Z with a positive charge, Y with a positive charge, and X with a positive charge. The middle value of 111, or g g g, likewise shows no charge in any direction, as this is the zero center point.
